Evaluation for Premilary Task

For my Premilary Task I made a less than 60 second movie clip. Our movie clip was named 'Unknown'.

I enjoyed this task because I thought it was good when we were filming different camera angles such as; long shot, close up, medium shot etc. While filming the mini movie I enjoyed all the different camera angles we got to do. 

I enjoyed editing the movie, I like editing videos and I think its good while editing the film to play it every time you add something to it or edit it so you are able to see if its good enough and if not you can see how to improve it and make it better.

The things I would do differently if I do this task again would be I would take more time with editing the movie and also I would take longer to film the clips so that it would be more detailed such as props etc. I would also be more steady when holding the camera so it doesn't shake around, to make it more better in the future I would use the tripod. 

Analysis of Taken

This is a medium shot while there is also a tracking shot of the girl on the phone. This shows that she doesn’t want to stay still so its as though she is very agitated while she is looking at something on her phone.

 It jumps cuts to a long shot of her walking away into another room.

This shows what she looks like and where she is. This shot could be to show that she is exiting this scene and about to start a new one.

There is another jump cut and it turns into a medium shot, of her looking panic in another tracking. This shows the panic on her face, while not showing her full body it shows her upper bodies shock, her arm gestures.

There is a medium shot of Nelson sitting in his chair, in a tracking shot he stands up as the camera zooms in on his shocked and pained expression.

This shot demonstrates how Nelson is panicked himself, he cannot relax, thus the shot represents.

The rest of the shots are medium shots as talk back and forth with tracking.

Then a girl gets attacked in a long shot, followed by close ups of the girls shocked expressions. Then a close up of Nelson grabbing a bag and throwing it out of the way.’

In this photo it is a close up of the girl looking very shocked as though something bad is happening while on the phone to her father. This is making us all wonder what is going on.

There is a medium tracking shot of him placing the briefcase on the table. And an extreme close up of him rummaging through rubbish in the brief case, to and a voice recorder, which in an close up of the recorder and he plugs in wires

There is then a medium shot of her running into the bedroom and hides
